Founded in 2017 by gallerist Marcela Setton, Quadra is located in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro. The gallery works with new artists, whose productions propose an opening to the experimental in the field of the contemporary Brazilian art scene. Each artist is carefully selected, in this sense. Quadra’s curatorial parameter is to establish collaboration and partnership with the artists it represents, privileging critical accompaniment of the same.

Quadra aims to disseminate the production of its artists, promoting and commercializing their works, through partnerships with critics and guest curators, in exhibitions, debates and conversations, creating a favorable scenario for reflection on recent Brazilian art. This dialogue aims, above all, to encourage the formation of new collections.

In the certainty that art is transformative and should not be inaccessible, Quadra’s mission, therefore, is to make it part of everyday life.
